However, to me, the field became increasingly fascinating the more I understood about it. As I gained the ability to discern waveforms and grasp the basic principles, I became intrigued. Along my journey, I began to recognize patterns, interpret pacing maneuvers, and gain proficiency. The more I understood, the more I was able to contribute and be an asset during the procedure—an extra set of eyes to prevent complications, a patient advocate, with the ability to engage with the physician on diagnosis and treatment strategies.
